About Us:

Rancore, is a guild made up of various people coming from a number of mmorpg backgrounds. These include Guild Wars, Lineage II, World of Warcraft, EQ and much more. Our aim is to be one of the top pvp clans in Aion and this will be the main focus of our time spent ingame. We aim to excel quickly early game Aion and achieve the goals we have set in place.
At the moment our clan is comprised of a mix between Oceanic players and US players, we hope to continue recruitment in these two regions. In terms of alliances, we have ties with various clans, however nothing is set in stone until Official release and servers are chosen. Currently we have chosen to play the Asmodian race, on the North American Servers as we figure - the higher the population the better the pvp =].


Our Goal:

As mentioned already, our major focus will be on PVP thus we will definitely be spending a lot of time in the Abyss and putting to use all it has to offer. To achieve this aspect of our clan, it is essential for us to create a clan where the players get a long well together, are able to listen and to learn how to efficiently play their class. This will also demand a high level of capability, which if not shown in times of need will result in a dismissal from clan. As I have said before, this is a PVP legion and it is an aspect of the game we will take seriously. PVP aside, we hope to be on the NA servers during the week period before official release and establish our clan in game before others have the chance to.


Our Leadership:

The Leadership in Rancore is comprised of 1 Guild Leader and currently 3 Guild Officers (this will change). Other positions of authority are to be determined with the launch of Aion. With this being said, Guild leaders/Officers do take into account what the clan opinion is and will make decisions based on what they think will better our clan in the long run. However ultimately our system is based on the final decisions made by the leader and his council of officers. Currently the individuals occupying these positions are:

Guild Leader: Xyph
Guild Officers: Genix, Wulf, Inktomi, Rain, Raetherin
Site Admins: Xyph, Genix

There are a few spots left in our Guild Officer position, and will be filled with members who are deemed capable of the responsibilities involved.


Our Rank Structure:

Below is some information on the rank structure within Rancore:

Guild Leader
Highest ranking decision maker. The guild leader is responsible for the clans progression and functionality. Makes decisions based on whats best for the clan in the long run, aims to establish a professional environment comprised of skilled players.

Officer
The officers are second in commands. Their responsibilities include organizing clan members into groups/parties during clan events, monitoring overall progress of the clan and filtering through possible recruits. Officers are also required to be aware of server politics, which will involve information gathering and debriefing. Officer positions are awarded to those who are able and provide sufficient evidence that they can handle the responsibilities involved with such a position.

Raid Officer
The main duty of a raid officer is to be informed on the various raids and the benefits they provide to the clan. Responsibilities will include organizing raid times and parties, as well as researching the requirements involved with the raid itself.

Member
Members are the face of the clan, they represent who we are as a whole. A member's responsibility is to portray our clan image in any activity undertaken. This may include pvp, questing or raiding. Members are also required to assist in the development of the clan when asked and offer any beneficial information that may assist in clan progression.

Recruit
New additions to the Rancore family. May have to undergo a period of observation before moving up to Member status.


What we are looking for from our Legionnaires:

For our Legion we are looking for experienced players, who are able to listen to instructions and will work towards a better functioning clan. Having experience in PVP is much valued in Rancore. What we expect in our individual members is loyalty, focus and a dedication to know their class inside out.

Ventrilo is a requirement. We do not waver on this. If you are ingame you will be on ventrilo.

Age Requirement: We are also imposing a minimum age requirement of 18. Most of our players are adults who have jobs, go to university and even manage families. Rancore is not a childcare center and will not be treated as such. If you are younger than 18, you will be required to explain your reasons for joining and provide relevant experience in a mmorpg, as well as previous guild experience. This being said we do have a couple of young individuals in Rancore, who will be kept under observation until deemed a assest, and not a burden, to the clan.
